Eine konsequent statische Bildsprache und der Verzicht auf eine Off-Stimme stellen Akteur*innen aus Institution, Profisport und Fankultur auf eine Ebene. The filmic documentary investigates power structures and discriminatory practices within the social sphere of football in Germany. While football is often romanticised as a space of unconditional integration, the stadium simultaneously functions as a magnifying glass for racism and sexism. The work deconstructs this narrative and reflects on the dialectic between collective passion and structural exclusion.
A consistently static visual language and the absence of a voice-over place actors from institutions, professional sport, and fan culture on an equal level . The combination of raw stadium sound, minimalist ambient music, and intimate interviews renders the field’s inherent ambivalence audiovisually perceptible.
