Das Projekt untersucht Textil als Resonanzmedium im Spannungsfeld von Industrialisierung und Handwerk. Im Zentrum einer räumlichen Installation stehen die unterschiedlichen Logiken industrieller Produktion und handwerklicher Praxis. Ausgangspunkt sind aufgezeichnete Klänge industrieller Webmaschinen aus dem Textilwerk Bocholt, deren Rhythmus, Wiederholung und Abweichung Arbeit und Wahrnehmung prägen. Diese akustischen Strukturen werden in handgewebte Prozesse übertragen. Die Stoffbahnen machen Zeitlichkeit durch Struktur und Materialvariation sichtbar. Das Video macht Bewegung und Klang erlebbar, während das Buch textile Rhythmen sequenziell erschließt. Zusammen formen die Elemente eine Installation, in der Textil als Träger von Rhythmus sinnlich erfahrbar wird.

A Textile Exploration of Resonance
The project explores textiles as a medium of resonance within the tension between industrialisation and craftsmanship. At the center of a spatial installation are the contrasting principles of industrial production and craftsmanship. It starts with recordings of the sounds of industrial weaving machines from the Bocholt textile factory with its spinning and weaving mill, whose rhythm, repetition and variation shape both work and perception. These acoustic structures are translated into handwoven processes. The textile panels make time visible through structure and material variation. The video brings movement and sound to life, whilst the book unfolds textile rhythms in sequence. Together, these elements form an installation in which textiles can be experienced sensually as a medium for rhythm.
