Eine räumliche Installation, die die Rolle von Müttern in der Designbranche und ihrer (Un-)Sichtbarkeit in einem selbsternannt progressiven Arbeitsumfeld kritisch reflektiert. Es hinterfragt Strukturen, die Gleichberechtigung beanspruchen, sie jedoch nicht konsequent leben. In fünf Soundcollagen teilen vier Mütter persönliche Erfahrungen und Perspektiven. Im Fokus stehen Care-Arbeit, Choice-Feminismus und Chancengleichheit. Von der Decke abgehängte Kopfhörer laden dazu ein, in die akustischen Beiträge einzutauchen. Quadratisch angeordnete Fragestellungen strukturieren den Raum. Ein typografisch gestaltetes Stoffbanner sowie ein Overheadprojektor eröffnen die Möglichkeit, eigene Gedanken einzubringen und die Installation partizipativ zu erweitern.

Motherhood in the Creative Industry
A spatial installation that critically reflects on the role of mothers in the design industry and their (in)visibility within a self-proclaimed progressive work environment. It questions structures that claim equality yet fail to consistently practice it. In five sound collages, four mothers share personal experiences and perspectives, focusing on care work, choice feminism, and equal opportunities. Headphones suspended from the ceiling invite visitors to immerse themselves in the audio pieces. Questions arranged in a square formation structure the space. A typographically designed fabric banner and an overhead projector allow visitors to contribute their own thoughts and actively expand the installation.
